A timber church of 1909 which, despite the naive combination of a Gothic arched door with square pointed windows, achieves an elegant Arts and Crafts character in the gable woodwork, with its neatly incorporated cross, and has a natural timber finish internally. The former Presbyterian church was erected in 1857 By Smith, Bank and Cranston. The architect was ThomasTurnbull. The rendered brick hall church with buttressed walls and lancet windows with label mouldings is dominated by a square tower with a short spire.
